Attorney Cory Briggs Announces $250k Seed Money for Citizens’ Initiative to Raise TOT and Eliminate TMD in San Diego

Attorney Cory Briggs has announced that he will be providing $250,000 in seed money to kick-start the campaign for a citizens’ initiative to raise the City of San Diego’s Transient Occupancy Tax from 10.5% to 15.5% and eliminate the City’s 2% Tourism Marketing District Tax.  The goal is for voters to see the initiative on their June 2016 ballot.
